RecruitMalta is looking for an Insurance Officer for a successful local insurance company.

Responsibilities:


Responsibilities:
Handling of general client queries related to personal lines insurance;

Issuing quotations, and renewing insurance policies;
Opening and registering of new claims;
Managing of time-sensitive claims issues;
Compiling and handling of all necessary communications and documentation relevant to claims;
Providing clients with quality customer care at a high service standard;
Negotiating and concluding insurance claims on behalf of customers;
Keeping detailed records of correspondence and activities according to company procedure;
Liaising with third parties and intermediaries;
Any other duties emanating from the role.


Requirements:


You will have some experience in insurance, and a sound understanding of the industry

Applicants must be in possession of A level or CII qualifications or equivalent;
Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills;
Preference will be given to applicants with a professional background in insurance.


Salary circa 18k based on experience, plus benefits package.
